Geboren 1999, erkundet Elmaskaya seit 2016 die elektronische Szene und ihre Hinterhöfe. Schnell entwickelte er eine tiefe Liebe zu experimentellen Klanglandschaften, acid-beeinflusstem Bass und exzessiven, zugleich solidarischen Tanzräumen – Räume, die er seither als Host und Mitbegründer der Rave Against The Machine-Reihe weiterentwickelt, ursprünglich entstanden als Off-Location im Autonomen Zentrum Wuppertal.

Meist im Hintergrund agierend, beweist Elmaskaya als Resident des lokalen Mauke Clubs und mit regelmäßigen Auftritten in NRW – etwa im Tresor.West, Roxy Cologne oder Goethebunker – dass er mit einer leidenschaftlichen Selektion jenseits stilistischer Grenzen überzeugt und dabei stets seine freche Handschrift bewahrt. Since its inception in the late 90s, Perlon has established a one-of-a-kind sonic aesthetic. The leading authority on stripped back yet groovy, endlessly adventurous house and techno. While rightfully associated with the evolution of minimal techno, the label’s sonic remit actually reaches far beyond simple genre conventions, presenting a playful, colourful spectrum of underground sounds.

Zip co-founder of the label Perlon, a reference point for deeper dancefloors around the world. In a Zip set you’ll hear a discerning mix of 90s Mood II Swing rarity weaved together with trippy minimal via moments that pull at your heartstrings, delivered with a charmingly unassuming grin from behind the booth.

Fumiya Tanaka’s long career over 25 years as a DJ and producer started in Japan where he did his Chaos parties where Fumiya and Zip’s reunions first began. Fumiya found a second home on Perlon, crafting out a distinctive sound within the labels roster with an affection for tumbling basslines, big grooves and spooky atmospheres. He pulls out the beauty, the depth and the thickness of music and turns “minimal” into “maximum”
