Vitaminka is a DJ from Cologne. She has an open heart for all kinds of genres and a preference for dubby and weird sounds. She loves discovering music in niches and enjoys community-driven events. In Cologne, she works in the film sector and in addition organises concerts, DJ evenings and film screenings in the independent scene with her feminist collective Mimosa e. V., séances sonores and her wider circle of friends.

Inspired by the darker side of sounds, Jay explores soundscapes and song structures as a DJ and artist. Sometimes in a more direct way, sometimes on experimental paths – somewhere between noise, layers and driven, beat-defined structures. If for the classics or some layered obscurities, always with a touch of weirdness and most important any kind of musical output. Out of Wuppertal and long time Cologne based he is also involved in organising concerts and events with séances sonores and friends, acts under the name darque and is involved in projects as for example community radio.

séances sonores is a concert series in Cologne, which aims to create spaces for obscure, weird and dance music and to embrace the otherness together! The series is run by Vitaminka, Yonca and Jay – a group of friends which is active in the Cologne music and cultural scene.
