Kangding Ray is the alias of musician and producer David Letellier, whose work fuses experimentalism and club music. Widely recognized as one of the most innovative voices in contemporary electronic music, he explores the emotional and physical dimensions of sound — from immersive live sets to award-winning film scores and conceptual sound design.
Gerard Hanson was born in 1972. He hails from of Dallas, Texas USA. Little is known about this producer who seems to have Scandinavian roots. His productions have reflections with Basic Channel/Chain Reaction sound. His main inspirations are Juan Atkins and Derrick May. His music also has influences from Stefan Robbers, Red Planet and Carl Craig. He found a way where everything came together: Deepness, Minimalism and Soul, the Detroit-Berlin connection. In 1994 Gerard Hanson and Dan Kurzius started ‘Hardsync’, a Magazine dedicated to electronic music reviews and artist interviews. It has been defunct since 1996 as a result of a computer crash. Hard Sync was an outlet for several Texas-based electronic music enthusiasts to reach out to others around the world that shared similar musical interests. He released his first 12″ on Matrix in 1995. From 1995-1997, he released five ep’s, and then only two more in the next six years until 2005. After that some other labels approached him but just wanted more of the same and didn’t really seem to understand his sound. After that he stopped releasing music and produced only for his personal usage. After a couple of years the label Down Low convinced him to pick up his producing again. He is very careful about sharing his music with the rest of the world. In the last decade he only used the aliases Convextion and E.R.P. (Event Related Potential). E.R.P is an electro-edged moniker. Gerard has remained willingly anonymous since his debut in 1995, but he came out of obscurity for a debut European Live performance in London in April 2006.
GiGi FM’s selections have charmed bodies on dancefloors across Europe and beyond into states of ecstasy. Techno, bass, breaks and ambient all come to play when she’s in the booth.
Propelling her audiences from carnal, bass-driven depths to a heady ambient trance in a matter of minutes, she commands the floor with her genre-defying spirit.

They are producing, deejaying and playing live on their Electribes, as well as running their label Pulse Drift Recordings since 2016. They are also organizing parties in their area and keep the electro scene alive.
Beside releasing on their own imprint they released on Undersound Recordings, Inch By Inch Records, funkscapes, mindcolormusic and Sounds Benefit among others. By the end of last year they dropped the 'Cellarworx II' EP and their live-set at Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg set the club on fire. Look forward to their live-set at Open Ground!
For more than a decade Alexander Dorn has shaken electronic sounds, stirring shapes and forms as Credit 00 that adhere to few genre tags.
Being sonically socialized through hip hop in the 1990s, graffiti and breakdance were the first outlets for his creativity, music dominating his daily life since a young age. It was through hip hop culture that he realised that you don't need a degree or know how to play an instrument to create your own music.
Inspired by the US ghetto music of the 1980s his journey to explore the endless universe of sound had kicked off. Leading him through many phases of musical preferences: classic electro, reggae dancehall, italo disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno, new wave or ghettotech.
After concentrating on numerous styles his mission became to combine different influences in DJing and production. Music without genre and boundaries is also the concept of his label Rat Life Records. Since 2014 it is a platform for his own output and those of like-minded artists.
Having released many EPs, compilations and collaborations on labels like Uncanny Valley, Chiwax, June, Bordello A Parigi, Pinkman, especially his 2017 debut album 'Game Over' shows the many voices of an open minded artist. Even now Credit 00 is always on the lookout for the unknown and seeks to challenge the listener and himself rather than to fulfill expectations.
For funkscapes he just contributed a fresh rework to the extended reissue of Pop Projekt's 'Elektrik Boogie'.
