Heavily influenced by hip hop, Pop, funk, soul, jazz and reggae and dub, Blackeye uses his knowledge of music to craft his art. Inclined to deliver his deep vocals, not on top of the music as a major focal point, but with a complimentary approach, Blackeye exudes presence enough to touch the music with his deep, soulful tones.
Over the last couple of decades, while developing his skills on the circuit, be it small intimate gigs or pirate stations, Blackeye has amassed some prime residencies over the years, as well as a lengthy outing with a weekly show on Life FM in the early 2000s. Blackeye was now starting to take centre stage before teaming up with Double O and Mantra to host the formidable Rupture jungle events, fast becoming the voice of the night.
His tireless drive and passion for the music has seen bookings for Blackeye coming in thick and fast taking him to events up and down the country and beyond to international regard.
Working regularly with many of the scenes pioneers such as Digital & Spirit, Seba, Stretch and label events such as Rupture, Technicality, AKO, Hardware and Metalheadz. Blackeye has crafted his own niche, playing in his own lane to secure the well-earned trust of DJs who can expect Blackeye to enhance any set he hosts

Known for her deep, emotive sets that push the boundaries of drum and bass while still paying homage to its foundation, Mantra brings an intense passion into her selection, striking just the right balance between dark and uplifting. Having played in clubs across London and Europe, Mantra’s talent, skill and passion for promoting diversity in dance music have landed her features in both DJ Mag and Mixmag.
Far more than just a DJ and producer, Mantra’s work developing, curating, and promoting the Rupture brand, as a label and as jungle’s premier event, speak to how deeply drum and bass culture influences her life. Community work has played a vital role in her life and in December 2018 she started the initiative EQ50 to mentor and support women within the heavily male dominated drum and bass genre.
Dev Pandya is a certified breakbeat addict with a vinyl production career spanning 30 years. Having first released back in 1992, he’s since amassed a back catalogue of 10 vinyl albums and 200 12” singles on leading drum and bass labels including Moving Shadow, 4 Hero’s Reinforced, LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking, Hospital and Goldie’s Metalheadz.
The musical career of Dev Pandya dates back to 1990 when Mixrace was formed with partner DJ Trax. From their first vinyl releases in 1992 on leading hardcore label Moving Shadow, the pair went on to set-up and record for their own label before Dev’s two alter-ego guise’s emerged in 1996.
Exploding across the scene with a string of 12″ releases on Timeless and Renegade Hardware, Total Science’s CIA, the seminal Certificate 18 and Reinforced Records Alaska and Paradox soon became a name synonymous with deep atmospherics and intricate breaks.
His Alaska alias appeared at the same time yet focused on more ambient productions, releasing on labels such as Good Looking, Renegade Recordings, Vibez, Blame’s 720 Degrees and Tayla’s Nexus label.
Producing alone under the names Paradox and Alaska, he also collaborates with the likes of Seba and Nucleus, as well as vocalists including Kirsty Hawkshaw and Robert Manos.
Dev is the only Jungle artist invited to collaborate with the legendary Herbie Hancock for a dnb-jazz fusion piece and was personally invited by Richard D James to perform alongside Aphex Twin.
The live-on-stage aspect is a big part of the Paradox ethos and Dev recently travelled to war-torn Kyiv to perform for President Zelensky’s United24 charity. Whilst air raid sirens are still a daily occurrence, Paradox performed to boost Ukranian morale and contribute towards the rebuild of children’s hospitals destroyed by the war.
2026 see’s Seba & Paradox return to their METASP series on Metalheadz, plus a special Paradox 200th vinyl release on Paradox Music. Dev will be touring Europe and USA along his trusty 1992 Commodore drum sequencer - unravelling bpm tempos from Breakbeat to Jungle.

Rupture has spent the last 20 years becoming London's home for deep, underground jungle and drum & bass - built on community and a refusal to commercialise the culture.
Founded in 2006 by Mantra and Double O the night was created to push the more experimental side of jungle and drum & bass.
By 2012 it had expanded into a record label, releasing music from artists such as Spirit, dBridge, Tim Reaper, Sully and Forest Drive West, Djinn and many more.
Rupture is widely regarded as one of London's best underground D&B nights, consistently pushing forward-thinking lineups whilst keeping community and inclusivity at its core. As the movement has evolved so has the need to double down on the essence of what it means to rave: intentional gatherings built around amazing sound systems, paying homage to the foundations of jungle and d&b whilst always looking at new ways to push the sound forward and create pathways for emerging artists.
