Electronic dance music and beyond Nuno Costa began his ventures into electronic music in 2008 with his Sinner moniker, and with it he created Warface, a local crew and promoter focused on dubstep, drum ’n’ bass, and UK garage.In 2013 he kickstarted his new project, VIL, focusing mainly on techno. VIL’s refined taste and set building ability has already earned him a place at some of the best clubs in the country and is a regular presence at many of the country’s festivals as well.

Fast forward to 2018, where alongside Portuguese artists Temudo and menosdois, he creates Hayes, a collective focused on showcasing the distinct output of its artists through vinyl and digital releases. Already counting with several vinyl releases since its inception and garnering support by some of the biggest name in the scene, Hayes turns out to be one the most promising labels to rise during the pandemic.

Born and bred in Wuppertal, Sesner has been DJing for the people since his teens.

After moving to Cologne in the late 90s, he has played in most venues of the Domstadt. While loving and spinning many musical genres, he has always had a soft spot for sound system inspired club music from the UK such as Jungle, Drum’n’Bass, Grime, Dubstep or UK Funky – and that is why he founded the Riddim Box crew alongside a fine line-up of other DJs in 2011.

Today, Sesner remains dedicated to Riddim Box and the sounds of the ever-evolving bass music culture around the world.

A DJ, producer and graphic artist based in Cologne, Hade is what they call a creative powerhouse.

With DWFL, he has released footwork-inspired albums, as well as house, disco or schlager mutations under his own moniker on labels such as Oye or Razor’n’Tape. He has rocked clubs and festival stages across Europe and the US alongside the likes of Hunee, Palms Trax, Elena Colombi and more. Hade also hosts his own regular show on Düsseldorf’s Callshop Radio.

A Riddim Box comrade since day one, Hade has contributed the odd grime or breakbeat edit and spun with the boys at festivals such as Melt and Splash.

Nullmeridian is a queer DJ born and based in Cologne.

Naturally drawn to playful and freaky melodic elements, mind-bending percussion and nasty bass, she is always digging for unknown gems, eternal classics and fresh releases. Passionate about all flavours of underground club music from around the globe, her sets consist of Footwork, Baltimore Club, UK Garage, UK Bass, Dubstep, Breaks, Jungle, Electro and everything in between and beyond.

This is how she came to be a guest in the Riddim Box Radio show in early 2024 – resulting in a beautiful musical friendship with the Box lads.
