Chicago-based DJ who started in the mid-80s, deep into Modern Soul, Rare Disco, Boogie and other obscure styles.
In 1983 and 1984, Darryn began his deejaying craft of rare grooves by buying records from any place and anyone he could.
His style has influenced the dark underground, disco and funk scene massively. Darryn released possibly one of the best edits of disco/house recording of 2020 the Chi-town Ep. In Chicago he has rekindled the dark underground dance scene with the DURTY TRUTH PARTY a must to go to when in Chicago if you can find the secret locations.
