Lucas Croon, one of the names behind (in)famous ‘Salon des Amateurs’, is a composer and producer and his releases on Themes For Great Cities and Aiwo are decorated with balearic, melodic and tribal tones which are sometimes going unexpected directions. On his latest album for Ediciones Villasonora he generously spreads his eclectic repertoire and travels through a spectrum of spaced-out downtempo and breaky sounds, amid classy percussive textures and alluring synth lines.
