Tasha’s DJing style weaves tunes together seamlessly from her bass informed home of the UK alongside four four techno forms born in Berlin and Detroit. With an accomplished and atmospheric hold on the dancefloor expect upfront cuts mixed in with some old gems and other styles in between like D&B / Jungle. In an industry where artists are asked to prioritize their art for social media presence, likes and other vacuous pursuits, Tasha is very much in demand for her ‘music first’ attitude, selection and ability.
Ben Sims is one of techno’s most exciting talents - a DJ who has stayed true to the genre’s funk, groove and electronic fused origins whilst continuing to embrace and nurture its development over the past 25 odd years.
Schooled on a diet of Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul, House and Rave in the 80’s, he played a huge part in defining British dance music in the 90s and continues to be an ardent champion of new music, producers and DJs via his many nights, record labels, radio shows, podcasts and relentless touring endeavours.
As a DJ, Sims commands your attention, both visually and musically with anything from 3 to 5 decks running near constantly and hands, faders, effects and EQs a blur as tunes overlap to create a dense and quickly evolving collage of sound.
Whether playing to 50, 500 or 5000 this unbridled energy and commitment to the art of mixing never falters and shows why Sims is regarded as one of the true masters on the circuit, both a DJ’s DJ and a straight up party rocker in equal measures.
As a solid actor on the Berlin scene since 2014 and one of the core organizers at the infamous Femme Bass Mafia, Marie teaches the basics of DJing as well as how to navigate the start of one’s DJing journey, touching upon mental health and first steps in the industry.
Dedicated to finding the dancefloor balance between musical education and rave, she blends together a broad variety of styles within her sets ranging from percussion-driven bass, breakbeat and leftfield techno, to psychedelic house journeys under their "metaverde" moniker.
Monibi is a sound system enthusiast and avid digger from France. She works as a DJ, music producer, mixing & live sound engineer in Berlin. A long station in the UK anchored her sound in bass and converted her to low end therapy, still Monibi always favours vibe over genre dogmatism. Her eclectic approach to murky bass has been heard at Fusion, CTM Festival, or Boiler Room repping her productions released on Martyn's label, 3024, as well as other up and coming Berlin labels like W133 or Twisting Knobs Records.
Known for her fierce drum breaks, bass heavy club bouncers and 140-160 BPM madness, the budding selector has already been gaining notoriety as a force to be reckoned with.
As a booker, raver and all-round muso, Dangermami had already learnt the ins and outs of the electronic scene before even laying a finger on a mixer. Upon deciding to step from the dancefloor into the booth, she founded a mentorship programme to help other femmes looking to launch their careers. Femme Bass Mafia is the result of this idea.
