Tereza is a German DJ, radio host and curator currently based in Berlin. She lives for the groovy, mostly up-lifting notions of underground dance music and, with her background as a hiphop dj, has a refreshing way of telling exciting and coherent stories through her dj sets. She loves good music of various genres and getting people's bodies moving - both Bandcamp nerds as well as ravers. Gilles Peterson describes her as a “brilliant DJ to watch and a great curator”.
Lakuti’s passion for music knows no bounds . That passion for music extends beyond the dance floor both musically and politically. An experienced music curator, producer, Uzuri artist agency and label head, a sought-after educator on dance music’s history and a critical voice of the scene, Lakuti takes on many roles. A DJ and musician first and foremost, the Panorama Bar resident draws from a deep understanding of music in it‘s technicolour glory .
Heart, emotion and passion instead of pure functionality – these are Tama Sumo's DJ characteristics in a nutshell. To be a DJ for me means to be in touch with the audience without words and to interact with the crowd and give them what they need whilst staying true to myself at the same time.
DJ finsterNiz (BitchesxWitches) moves between bass-heavy and atmospheric sound without sticking to one lane. Her approach is stripped back and precise — broken, slightly shifted rhythms, sharp drums and deep, controlled low-end.
The energy doesn’t rely on big drops. It builds steadily, stays present and pulls you in — dark, hypnotic and focused. At the same time, there are moments that open up, creating space to breathe without losing tension.
Minimal, direct and grounded in a deconstructed, mental approach — made for the heads.
With a fascination for all things bass & breaks, matildnz likes to play whatever tickles her brain, touches her soul or gets her body moving — preferably all at once. Aiming to create more spaces for unique electronic sounds, the DJ, designer and digital artist has been involved in the local music scene for quite some time now, organizing events as part of IVORY as well as curating the online radio station beton.fm.
Brewing in the electronic music scene in China and Germany, Menki is a visual artist and DJ in the queer community. As a member of @http_shanghai, a collective aimed at amplifying the voices of female and queer artists, she has built connections with venues, collectives, and radio platforms across the globe with her eccentric art and music.Recently joined @r9_fia, an online radio station born in the uncharted realm of the internet, dedicated to showcasing innovative sounds and genres that push the boundaries ofelectronic music. Opening the Freifeld from 11pm is Tereza who lives for the groovy, mostly up-lifting notions of underground dance music and, with her background as a hiphop dj, has a refreshing way of telling exciting and coherent stories through her dj sets.
Then from 1am till 6am close Tama Sumo and Lakuti. Their flow ties together house music history with a deep love and knowledge of all genres and, perhaps most importantly, the desire and know-how to just make people dance.
Tama Sumo started DJing in Berlin in the early 90s. Tuned more towards the deep and soulful end of house music, her residencies began springing up around the city and across some of the capital’s most revered dance floors, as have floors across the world.
Lakuti’s first raves were set in the disused warehouses of Johannesburg and harmonised by the early intermingling of US, UK and Kwaito House music.
Bitches x Witches at Annex from 10pm.
They mix genres and create spaces for new interpretations. Their sets are melancholic, raw, and empowering—an invitation to fully immerse yourself in the music. With a strong focus on UK bass, breaks, and soft ethereal melodies, they take you on a journey through a mosaic of dark, melancholic sounds, bass, jungle, footwork, and driving drums.
Bitches x Witches aiming to provide a safer-space and create more visibility for FLINTA.
