Her sets are not only known for their musical diversity, but also for their spiritual atmosphere. DJ Lag’s superb production skills have played a big part in transforming a sub-genre of house – one that began by soundtracking taxi trips around Durban – to an enviably innovative participant in the global scene. It's a stunning rise and DJ Lag is ready to put in the work required to make sure Gqom is remembered forever.

Piccell is a DJ, producer, and the founder of Barulho, a collective pushing Afro-electronic music and local club culture in Germany. His sound blends AfroTech, Gqom, Kuduro, and Hardgroove, fueled by live elements and his signature MPC. With deep roots in Angola and Germany, Piccell’s sets and productions reflect a unique cultural fusion. Through Barulho, he’s building a label and creating spaces for artists and audiences to connect, while redefining what the local scene can be.

Foudjo, a DJ and producer with Congolese roots, blending the rhythms of Batida, Deephouse, and UK Funky House in my sets. Based in Dortmund, I am part of the Barulho World collective, where I strive to highlight the rich and diverse possibilities of Afro-electronic music. Since 2022, I have been working closely with Omar Jatta, an emerging Afrobeats artist from Germany, crafting fresh sounds and innovative collaborations. As the curator of a guest mix series on SoundCloud and the head of Barulho Records, I aim to create a platform that encourages listeners to explore and embrace the vibrant world of Afrocentric/ Afroelectronic music.




KØKØ, born and based in Wuppertal, draws inspiration from the atmospheric styles of the 2010s techno scene.
His sound is a fusion of deep, ambient textures and driving beats, influenced by immersive, hypnotic and dynamic elements. His style binds the essence of both introspective soundscapes and raw energy, creating a unique auditory experience that reflects his roots and artistic evolution.

Di2 is a resident of Münster’s Schick.Standort collective and now based in Cologne.
Her sound is deep, driving grooves with atmospheric textures. She likes to break the four to the floor norm by integrating polyrhythms into her sets, creating a rhythmic flow that challenges expectations. With a vision for a timeless sound, she navigates between genres and moods, always keeping the dancefloor engaged.

Mexem has been active in Wuppertal’s underground music scene for over a decade. Whether performing in clubs or crafting live sets, his work is defined by a distinctive approach to sound design, groove, and the dynamic tension between melancholy and euphoria. His sets weave together ambient textures, deep dubstep, and intricate shades of jungle and drum & bass—always grounded in his unmistakable sonic identity, with deep, driving techno as the foundation. Mexem’s music draws listeners into a trance-like state and guides them through a rich, transformative journey.
