Laura's DJ sets are known for their transportive, atmospheric qualities and a sound that layers deep techno and dubbed-out ambient. Honing her unique style through years in the underground rave circuit, she's carved out her own lane in the scene, and she continues to push boundaries and deepen her sonic explorations through her residency on Refuge Worldwide and on the dance floor.
Psyk is a solid staple of the current techno scene and doesn't seem to have gone off course since his precocious artistic ascension.
His sets in the best clubs all over the world have helped crystallise his DJ talents making him one of the most interesting DJs on the circuit and an influential figure in a whole generation. Psyk's singularity and maturity are constantly present in his music. The versatility who characterises his sets are also shown in his productions, from "Arcade" or "Eclipse" ́s entraining feverish techno, his remix for Planetary Assault System ́s track Twelve to hypnotic and deeper cuts like Lowdown for Tresor or his eps on Non Series and Semantica.
By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk is focusing all his efforts on the concretization of the ideas that agitate his mind.
With co-signings from some of Europe’s most influential venues, platforms and labels, including Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs and London’s NTS Radio, Cologne-based artist Phillip Jondo has garnered a reputation as a first-class DJ and producer since many years.
His debut EP Little Princess for Dekmantel (2021), featured knockout collaborations with Maxwell Sterling, DJ Plead and Moa Pillar. Jondo’s latest BISQU EP feat. Xzavier Stone and DJ Plead will be released via his own imprint SPA Recordings and treads a similarly weighty path. The label SPA was launched in 2018 by Jondo and his friends DJ Brom and Friday Dunard.
Since 2014 Phillip has been regularly hosting shows on NTS and inviting international guests to deliver forward thinking and creative selections. His sets cover everything from grime, house, footwork, jungle, rap, dancehall, R&B, disco to bass-heavy techno. Jondo’s passion for experimentation made him a unique selector, who has been able to seamlessly connect the dots between various styles through thoughtful layering and creative mixing skills.
With highlight shows including festivals and clubs like Draaimolen, Meakusma, Dekmantel, Dekmantel Selectors, Melt, Robert Johnson and De School, Jondo has presented his distinctive sound to a variety of audiences across Europe.
Growing up in Sydney and now based in Berlin, DJ Plead broke through as a producer first and foremost with a debut drop on Air Max ‘97’s DECISIONS label in 2018. From the outset, he put his Lebanese heritage in the foreground both in terms of rhythm and melody. If distinctive Eastern scales and snappy, intricately threaded drum patterns have since become DJ Plead’s calling card, they came through fully formed on that first EP, dancing the divide between traditional musical motifs and precision-engineered electronics.
DJ Brom is a DJ, musician and event curator based in Colgone.
In 2018 he co-founded the label SPA Recordings alongside longterm friends Phillip Jondo and Friday Dunard, accompanied by Sarah San & Manuel Sékou.
He released music under his FRANCE`98 alias and a collaborative track as tearss (cc Friday Dunard) on the initial label compilation `safe needing attention`.
They are hosting a monthly slot on London's NTS radio, focusing on dance music with a global perspective and storytelling listening mixes.

Spa Recordings is back at Open Ground's Annex floor on July 19th! No other than DJ Plead - longterm collaborator of the the Cologne based label - joins co-founders Phillip Jondo and DJ Brom for this occasion.
