The italian youngster has matured over the past 2 years, like a good Sangiovese. After taking the field by storm with his unconvential production ethos and aesthetics in 2021, Alarico did not sleep on his one-to-watch status -
he delivered. Two releases on Mutual Rytm and another on Klockworks propelled his expedition around the world
and cemented him as an inherent part of what Techno sounds like in the mid 2020s.
His sets resemble the raw and somewhat wild nature of his productions. Slick minimalism meets gritty textures, grime goes hand in hand with intricacy to create an organized chaos. Faders are flicked back and forth while
meticulous work on the equalizer glues it all together. Alarico's sets are an ode to the forefathers of early
hiphop, just in a very different musical realm and context.
Being one of the most in-demand Techno DJs of our times, Ben Klock needs little intro- duction. His name has been closely associated with Berlin’s legendary club Berghain since 2005. His monthly residency has formed the backdrop to his international success, providing an invaluable platform for his ability to create a room rather than just play to it.
Since his earliest days in the scene, Amsterdam’s electronic music pioneer Steve Rachmad has created a legion of monikers to cover the variety and broadness of his compositions.
One of the main creatures living on Planet Rachmad has always been STERAC, a side of Steve’s musical personality that’s not easily described. Let’s say that where other aliases are used for excursions to more dub-, disco-, or house- oriented records, STERAC’s focus has always been on the no-nonsense, darker, and deeper side of techno.
