Nachtdigital-affiliated Lux emerged from Leipzig's flourishing rave scene two decades ago and has honed her craft as a DJ within various underground collectives of the city's diverse subculture. Now based in Berlin, she has developed a remarkable sense for versatile selections, guided by an intuitive ability to immerse the dancefloor in a subtle, attentive mode of listening. Her sound, clearly inspired by Detroit and UK aesthetics, narratively weaves together genres such as Ambient, Electro, Breakbeat, House, Italo, Wave, Drum & Bass, and Techno with effortless ease. Her mixes naturally ebb and flow from intricate to playful, trippy to downbeat, dubby to uplifting, creating an atmosphere that is nothing short of unique.
Efdemin aka Phillip Sollmann is a DJ, producer and composer based in Berlin. He is known for his deep, psychedelic, and idiosyncratic take on both house and techno. Spearheading a percussive yet atmospheric sound, Konduku’s minimalist approach to hi-energy dance music has reached a singular space. Varying between half-time steppers, futuristic house music and lucid techno experiments, Konduku has assembled a raft of forward thinking club records.
Taking in UK bass culture to his sound, turn-of-the-century tech house and mid-2000s Italian techno, it’s an obsession for drums - and a wider scope for what falls between - that gives Konduku a rare, outsider’s edge. A major musical talent full of artistic influence, Konduku’s sound and style not only inspires but lives long in the memory.
Tasha’s DJing style weaves tunes together seamlessly from her bass informed home of the UK alongside four four techno forms born in Berlin and Detroit. With an accomplished and atmospheric hold on the dancefloor expect upfront cuts mixed in with some old gems and other styles in between like D&B / Jungle. In an industry where artists are asked to prioritize their art for social media presence, likes and other vacuous pursuits, Tasha is very much in demand for her ‘music first’ attitude, selection and ability.
Though still considered young by industry standard, Victor's DJing has ripened significantly after more than a decade behind the decks. He's risen to prominence as a boutique selector in the heart of the German capital.
What truly distinguishes him is his versatility. He can seamlessly adapt to any time slot or party atmosphere, kind of like the Leatherman Multi-Tool of DJs. Victor's unique prowess extends to the art of collaboration. He thrives in back-to-back sets, an ability that has seen him share the stage with a wide array of artists.
Boya is a Tbilisi-based DJ and a member of Morevi Records, a record shop and label rooted in Tbilisi. A frequent guest at Tbilisi’s renowned Bassiani/Horoom, he is also the co-founder of Summoning, a platform encompassing a label, event series, and podcast.
As one of the Co founders of Schleuse Eins, he became an integral part of the Cologne local scene in the last 5 years. Raphi as he is called by his friends, does not hesitate to push boundaries in style. His musical journey is always on groove between Bass, House and Techno.
evolpeeD: a name that mirrors deep-rooted devotion to soulful and an introspective approach to music. Having come up through the ranks of the club scene in Vienna and Lighthouse Festival in Croatia, he is known for an evocative selection that delivers lots of emotional resonance, earning him residency at the acclaimed parties Schleuse and Research in his hometown of Cologne.
Between music journalism and club nights, born in Leipzig, at home in Cologne – Hanna aka Vlizz knows how to combine the wide spectrum of house in one set. Her sound selection is always on point, with which she wants to catch the right vibe. In her sets she combines groove elements with dubby textures, crisp percussions and punchy basslines. Sometimes playful, sometimes driving - but always with a clear sense of timing, dramaturgy and space. It moves somewhere between 90s-inspired Detroit house and minimal, dreamy elements and well-selected tech house - often with a touch of tribal. With a clear intuition for vibes and a deep understanding of space, Vlizz brings her own energy to the floor through her sets. Their sound is dynamic, flowy, punchy and above all one thing – sexy. Without a show - but with warmth, positive energy and a lot of love for music. Her mantra: House music is a feeling.
Nachti by Nachtdigital. A festival from the Saxon countryside that’s been making waves since 1998 – celebrating its 25th edition just last year. Known for forward-thinking lineups and a beloved ambient floor, Nachti is perhaps even more famous for something else: gently poking fun at the very serious world of techno, while still taking the music itself very seriously.
Besides the legendary Techno Safari, hopefully no one remembers a polonaise, a Banana Boat on the lake next to the Bingo Arena… or was it the great reunification, complete with tearing down the wall between East and West?
For the club night on April 18, we’ll focus on the absolute essentials. Special from Olganitz with love: Nachti merch will be available during the event.
Admission 20 € / before 23:00 15 €
