The Tottenham London born-and-bred selector grew up on soul and reggae, later becoming a dedicated junglist. First as a resident DJ at the legendary London club Plastic People, she’s built a rep as one of the most effective and interesting DJs around. Playing shape-shifting, genre-bending sets that effortlessly move from classic rare groove and disco records to upfront house and techno, via garage, jungle and whatever else she feels like. With no social media presence, Josey’s reputation is based on selection, passion and authenticity.
DVS1’s status as one of the world’s most revered DJs and prominent voices in the preservation of true club culture is built upon an all-encompassing love of music, deep respect for his craft, and experiences in the ‘90s midwest rave scene. With over 25 years of experience, his sets, powerful and high-energy affairs, honor these roots while evidencing a versatility, sensitivity, and understanding for making people dance that comes only with years of commitment in pushing the boundaries of sound at the most renowned clubbing institutions. Whether he’s spinning a rare house set or racing, straight techno to pitch black rooms, the DVS1 experience is unforgettable. Known for addressing issues within the electronic music scene, DVS1 launched Aslice in 2022, a community-driven platform that encourages DJs to donate a percentage of their fees to the artists whose music they play.
Sets by Pebblle are hard to put a finger on, with music that compels to be pinned down but falls and slips through the cracks. With her track selection ranging from straightforward industrial to folktronica and IDM, she has made a name for herself as a versatile DJ in the Amsterdam scene. Pebblle is a former resident at Garage Noord and used to have her own show at Lyl Radio.
Some know TV-Tas as a breadcrumb trail drifting along the Dutch Wadden Sea – Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland, Schiermonnikoog, a chain of islands moving from west to east. However, Tv-tas is also the name of an Amsterdam-based music enthusiast who is on the lookout for dubbed-out machine music and subdued earworms.
Shortly after leaving Venezuela to settle in Belgium, Ernesto González began creating psychedelic electronic sound under the BBLL moniker and has since been performing and releasing music around Europe and abroad. Dissonant abstractions, high-energy rhythmical workouts, bizarre melodic reveries and minimalist/maximalist drone practices all form part of the musical language that BBLL has developed for well over a decade, inviting to both solemn listening and ecstatic dancing, in a mental space where the archaic meets the futuristic, where the earthly meets the cosmic. His concerts have attracted many music fans from different horizons, allowing performances in varied contexts ranging from strictly experimental music festivals to open-minded night-clubs such and free-noise events. In 2019, BBLL was selected to be part of the EU’s SHAPE platform which gave the project the opportunity to participate in festivals such as UH in Budapest (HU), Insomnia in Tromso (NO) and GAMMA in Saint Petersburg (RU). As an active musician in Belgium’s experimental underground, González has been part of numerous musical outfits including Silvester Anfang/Sylvester Anfang II, Tav Exotic and Carcass Identity, amongst several other projects.
