Kā (Storm Willow Hartley) is a South African multi-disciplinary artist based in Berlin. Their research is rooted in ritual arts, bridging the unseen through ambient music and left-field dance. Kā channels sonic energy through their self-made gong creations, and through morphing the tangible and the ethereal with electronics to craft immersive, ultra-acoustic experiences that pulse into liminal realms. As a core member of Ultra Heaven (999hz.co) and 3Ω, Storm’s collaborations explore the intersection of embodied research, sound & consciousness.
Gong x Synthesis is a live transmission that connects the art of gong, a tradition of sound rooted in metallurgy, tuning, and transcendence, with contemporary anti-structural noise practices. Focused on the gong as a medium for crossing thresholds, Kā explores how sustained vibration and dense harmonic layering can shift perception, dissolve tension, and open liminal spaces for listening.
Đ.K. has gradually traded the bright palette of his early productions for a radically reverberated, near-shamanic approach to music and the experiences it evokes. Navigating the space between functionality and abstraction, soul and body, matter and energy, he draws on gamelan and other percussive styles from the far East, infusing them with cutting-edge club magic, dynamic breaks, and hints of dystopian escapism. Đ.K. weaves narratives between two worlds—the hyperconnected and the spiritual—communicating vessels where truth may surface, still untamed and forever elusive.

Darwin operates in the realm of low-end frequencies, delivering a tripped-out, sub-rattling blend of styles firmly rooted in soundsystem culture.
Her sets move with swampy intensity and hypnotic flow, drawing dancers in while maintaining a quiet versatility. A seasoned crate digger across many genres, she’s as comfortable playing back-to-back with DJ Storm, Mala or Lena Willikens as she is closing out Bassiani or Berghain’s Klubnacht.
Born in Canada, Darwin found her way into dance music after moving to London—first working at fabric in the mid-2000s, then experiencing a bass eureka moment years later at a Swamp81 party. That defining night set the course for her next chapter in Berlin, where she founded her label SPE:C in 2015 to spotlight emerging global talents like Decka, Carré, Axle, Beatrice M., and Tano.
In 2016, she launched REEF at the now-defunct Griessmuehle, a club where she had started a monthly techno-focused DJ residency 2 years earlier that helped develop her signature stripped back, sci-fi-infused sound. The boundary-pushing party brought bass music’s alien energy into the heart of the techno capital, which now calls Berghain home.
2024 marked a new chapter in Darwin’s evolution with the launch of ABYSS, a Sunday evening soundsystem series centered on the restorative power of low-end frequencies. Blending transcendental dance music with breathwork, meditation and healing practices, the event creates a space where sound connects body and mind.
Nono Gigsta’s DJ sets are playful yet precise, driven by a deep fascination with low frequencies. In 2024, her set at Freerotation—featuring sampled vocals, personal edits, and a broad spectrum of sounds—was widely acclaimed by both dancers and the press. RA, which named it their favorite mix of the year 2024, praised the set’s "jaw-dropping transitions, "quoting one listener who described it as the “Big Blend Academy.

ABYSS returns to Open Ground for a full venue activation exploring low frequency ritual, ambient immersion, and sound system communion. Moving between breathwork, gong resonance, dub architecture and deep listening hypnosis, the night holds a continuous passage through embodiment and altered perception.
The evening starts with Spectral Radiance Breathwork, a closed pre program session guided by Harman Holiday and Darwin. Limited to 35 participants, this intimate workshop weaves Conscious Connected Breathwork with immersive sound and live resonance, creating a grounded entry point into the experience.
From there, ABYSS follows a continuous arc rather than a sequence of isolated sets. The lobby opens at 19:30 for arrival, with the program beginning at 20:00. Guests are encouraged to enter from the start to experience the full trajectory of the night.
Attendees are guided in with Kā’s live gong synthesis, followed by an opening concert from Harman Holiday. This dissolves into an ambient set from dBridge before expanding outward through the full spectrum of the lineup.
In the Lobby, Ground Tactics operate throughout the night, offering spontaneous one-on-one activations with the audience. These short encounters focus on somatic co-regulation through touch, sound, and attention, incorporating tuning forks and subtle physical guidance to bring awareness back into the body.
