Luna Ludmila (Utrecht, NL) has spent the past two decades shaping her distinct sound as a DJ and producer. Blending dub-inspired grooves, dusty house records, and intricate tribal rhythms, she crafts hypnotic sonic journeys that captivate dance floors. A staple in the Dutch electronic music scene, Luna has played at renowned clubs and events such as Breakfast Club, Is Burning, VBX, Lofi and De School. Her international presence has taken her to iconic venues like Tresor, Club der Visionaere, Lux Frágil and Macadam. In 2023, she debuted her first-ever live club set at the revered Bassiani, marking a new chapter in her artistic evolution. Since then, she has played live at STOOR at Paradiso, BRET, WAS., and festivals including La Nature (BE) and Drift.
Beyond the dancefloor, Luna Ludmila continues to push artistic boundaries. After earning a degree in composition and sound design at the HKU in 2021, she expanded her focus to ambient/downtempo music, and interdisciplinary collaborations. In November 2024, she premiered her first audiovisual performance with visual artist Grigory Gromov at Podium Victorie in The Netherlands. Another standout moment was her sold out ambient live performance during ZERO BPM at the Thomaskerk in Amsterdam.
While performing is a deep passion, Luna spends most of her time in the studio, exploring the nuances of sound design and rhythmic complexity. Her fascination with layering textures and experimenting with intricate beats has led to releases on esteemed labels such as SoHaSo and Berg Audio. Whether behind the decks, crafting ambient journeys, or pushing boundaries with multidisciplinary performances, Luna Ludmila continues to evolve, creating a sound that is both timeless and forward-thinking.
“Extremely versatile, endlessly curious about music and machines, yet always modest and self-critical.” That’s how friends and fellow artists often describe Steve Rachmad.
Over the years, the Amsterdam producer has created a constellation of aliases to reflect the breadth of his musical ideas. Each name represents a different facet of his sound — a way to explore distinct territories within electronic music. Several of these identities have taken on lives of their own in the DJ booth.
One of the key characters in this universe is Parallel 9. With this alias, Rachmad explores the deeper and more hypnotic edges of electronic music. A Parallel 9 set is a journey through timeless depth — drawing from vintage deep house, dub-infused techno and productions by kindred spirits who share a fascination for the more immersive side of the underground.
Parallel 9 reveals yet another dimension of Rachmad’s musical language: subtle, hypnotic and emotionally rich. Whether it’s a decades-old classic or a new production, the music speaks the same vocabulary —depth, honesty and profound love for the craft.
In 2026, as Steve Rachmad marks 45 years devoted to music, the Parallel 9 alias will appear at selected moments in selected locations. This includes Kynant showcases at Panoramabar in Berlin and Open Ground in Wuppertal, as well as the 9 Years Blitz celebration in Munich.
British-Nigerian DJ and curator Richard Akingbehin is the co-founder of Berlin-based radio station Refuge Worldwide, and the founder of techno, dub and experimental label Kynant Records. His DJ sets move between dub techno, house and ambient, with soundsystem culture as the founding influence.
As a DJ, Altinbas is known for Challenging the limits of modern techno. Crafting captivating journeys that explore the common threads and connective tissue between his carefully-selected cuts.
Through his mixes, he’s become known for a sound built on layered beats and rapidly shifting dynamics, where even familiar tracks feel fresh in the fabric of his sonic narratives.
