First as a resident DJ at the legendary London club Plastic People, she’s built a rep as one of the most effective and interesting DJs around. Playing shape-shifting, genre-bending sets that effortlessly move from classic rare groove and disco records to upfront house and techno, via garage, jungle and whatever else she feels like. With no social media presence, Josey’s reputation is based on selection, passion and authenticity.

GHOST DUBS gained international recognition in 2024 with the album Damaged, released on The Bug's PRESSURE label. He crafted a wholly original fusion of low-end pressure, live dub techniques, and industrial sound aesthetics, which was also inspired by traditional dub, roots, dub techno, shoegaze, and drone, and captured many listeners' attention with futuristic sound design and mesmerising, slow-mo dubbed gyrations. Continuing this evolution, his follow-up album Oblique will arrive in September 2026, likewise on Pressure Records.

Mogol Soundsystem Crew is the connection between DIY soundsystem culture and electronic underground club sound. The project started out with the idea to open up the local bass music scene in Wuppertal by building a precise and sub-oriented system and doing parties with it, connecting the scene. Over time, a solid crew of regular selectors formed around the system, each one with their own distinctive approach to the art of selection - ranging from deep dub and heavyweight steppers to broken UK rhythms, experimental electronics, and driving 4x4 basslines, always rooted in soundsystem culture and a shared love for low frequencies.

Since the construcion of the first speaker in early 2024, the Soundsystem was featured at multiple cultural hotspots of Wuppertal and the surrounding area, delivering proper sound to the city, while creating a community for like-minded people. The selectors came together at several occasions to host parties in the city and did events at local spots like bars, Loch, the Café23 or at Open Ground Clubnights.

Annex: The Mogol Soundsystem Crew from Wuppertal teams up with Ghost Dubs, whose distinct take on dub combines deep low-end with hazy textures, spacious echoes and stripped-back rhythms. The evening brings together a wide spectrum of soundsystem music from the crew alongside a live set from Ghost Dubs.
