Pretty Sneaky is a project shrouded in mystery. Hailing out out of nothing 2017 at Hard Wax with a plain white label release, followed up w/ a handful more releases over the last years, developing into one of a kind project located somehere between broken techno, dub, ambient, free jazz and lapses of vivid found sounds.

Berlin-based DJ and radio host Elke radiates high energy – whether through playful electro, garage, and jungle or via percussive techno, bassy rollers, and stone-cold drumfunk.

Berlin based Struktur’s intent is to investigate the Techno's range, venturing into its outer spectrum embracing a diverse range of rhythmic patterns. Struktur channels this, crafting sonic entities that hover between the temporal and the timeless, where rhythm becomes an enigma and sound unfolds in celestial orbits.

Mark Ernestus–founder of Hard Wax and producer of Basic Channel, Maurizio and Rhythm & Sound fame–plays mostly Jamaican or other African rooted music beyond prevalent club sounds.

Kat7 (aka Exile Di Brave and Gavsborg), The pair, now based in Germany, have been recording this project across various locations in New Zealand, Germany, Jamaica and Switzerland. Rooted in Jamaican sound as a foundation the pair effortlessly glide through genres with ease and dexterity. Think spacey dubwise bass weight rudeboy steppers set to mash up the dance.

South London’s Mala played a pioneering role in UK music since the turn of the century: Stirring dubstep’s musical melting pot before it even had a name. His DJ sets and parties invite spiritual explorers to come - meditate on bass weight - by unleashing a concentration of dubwise vibrations and UK rawness that demands to be played on heavyweight sound systems for the full experience.

The Tottenham London born-and-bred selector grew up on soul and reggae, later becoming a dedicated junglist. First as a resident DJ at the legendary London club Plastic People, she’s built a rep as one of the most effective and interesting DJs around. Playing shape-shifting, genre-bending sets that effortlessly move from classic rare groove and disco records to upfront house and techno, via garage, jungle and whatever else she feels like. With no social media presence, Josey’s reputation is based on selection, passion and authenticity.
