RIFTS deftly weaves techno, jungle and hardcore into sets that are instinctive, unflinching and authentic.
Having collected a vast amount of records in his lifetime, Rifts doesn’t only thrill crowds through technical ability, he also makes other DJs drool over the tracks he’s actually playing. Whether weaving through Techno, House & Electro or banging out his Jungle & Hardcore 12s, Rifts always mixes with singular, surgical precision and is a pleasure to watch play.
Efdemin aka Phillip Sollmann is a DJ, producer and composer based in Berlin. He is known for his deep, psychedelic, and idiosyncratic take on both house and techno. Phillip has released numerous 12”s on various labels, three albums on dial records followed by a fourth one on Ostgut Ton in 2019. He holds a long running residency at Berghain.
MEXEM and Danyon are DJs based in Wuppertal, whose sound is deeply influenced by the early 2010s techno scene. Their collaboration results in a blend of dub, hardgroove, and breakbeat with percussive, raw, and hypnotic elements. The local clubs Mauke and Butan served as incubators for their collective named Sequence and the corresponding podcast series, which features like-minded DJs.
